Tesla had an exciting week with its Q4 2022 earnings call last week. CEO Elon Musk confirmed that Tesla has other products being developed. These could be anything ranging from the HEPA filters to a more affordable EV.
"We have other products in development. We’re not going to announce them, obviously, but they’re very exciting. And I think it will blow people’s minds when they — when we reveal them. Tesla has the most exciting product road map of any company on earth by a long shot,” he said during the call.
Regarding Tesla's competition, the CEO also said that although he “doesn’t really know who would even be a distant second,” that company is so far away that you can't even see them "with a telescope."
“We still don’t even know really who would even be a distant second. So yes, it really seems like we’re — I mean, right now, I don’t think you could see a second place with a telescope, at least we can’t. So that won’t last forever," Elon Musk said.
There were also updates on the Cybertruck and Elon Musk confirmed that although production is expected to start sometime this summer, volume production wouldn't begin until 2024. Read the press release here.
