Our Late Night Visit to the Tesla Diner — Electric in Every Way

We knew the Tesla Diner would be busy during opening week, but we definitely didn’t expect it to be this busy at 10PM on a weeknight. Pulling into the lot, it felt like a pop-up car meet. Teslas were everywhere, people were hanging out, music was playing. The energy was buzzing before we even stepped inside.

And honestly? We loved it.

Yes, it was chaotic. But it was also full of life and surprisingly fun. Everyone seemed genuinely excited to be part of the experience. The staff was hustling and doing a great job keeping things moving despite the crowd. Once we sat down, we totally understood why the hype exists.

The food was as amazing as we expected. Everything is sourced from local farms, and they don’t use any seed oils, which is a huge plus. It felt good to eat something that was both delicious and made with care. Our absolute favorites were the chicken and waffle sandwich, the smash burgers, and the chocolate milkshake. Each one was spot-on — crispy, rich, flavorful, and satisfying.

The vibe had a perfect mix of retro diner charm and sleek Tesla futurism. Neon lights, stainless steel, and clever design touches gave the whole space a cool and welcoming atmosphere.

Even with the crowds, we had a blast. There is something special about being there during opening week. The excitement is contagious. It felt like part diner, part community hangout.
