Tesla redesigned the front air vent in the Model 3 Highland and Model Y Juniper. The original ScentWedge no longer slots directly into the new vent so we created the CNC Adapter to bridge the gap. It's a precision-machined piece of hardware that slides into the vent. The scent experience is identical to what Model 3 and Model Y owners have had for years.

The CNC Adapter is a precision-machined aluminum piece that connects your ScentWedge to the new vent shape in the Model 3 Highland and Model Y Juniper. It is machined to match the wider Highland and Juniper vent geometry exactly. Your ScentWedge slides into the adapter first, then the whole assembly slides into the vent.
Do I need the adapter if I have an older Model 3 or Model Y?
No. If you have a Model 3 built before the 2024 Highland refresh, or a Model Y built before the 2025 Juniper refresh, the original ScentWedge fits your vent directly. No adapter needed.
How long does ScentWedge last?
Each pouch contains two walnut wood wedges, pre-infused with our botanical oil blend. One wedge goes in the driver side vent, one in the passenger side. Each pouch lasts approximately two weeks. An individual scent includes two pouches and lasts about one month. When the scent fades, swap in a fresh set.
What is ScentWedge made of?
ScentWedge is precision-milled from walnut wood. The scent oils are hand-blended from botanical essential oils: no synthetic fragrance, no phthalates, no formaldehyde, no parabens. Made in our California studio.
Is ScentWedge safe to use in a car?
Yes. ScentWedge uses only botanical essential oils with no synthetic fragrance compounds. Conventional car air fresheners often contain phthalates and synthetic VOCs. ScentWedge contains none of these. The walnut wood diffuses the scent gradually through the vent airflow, keeping the concentration low and consistent.
Can I buy just the CNC Adapter if I already have a ScentWedge?
Yes. The CNC Adapter is available on its own. If you already own a ScentWedge from a previous model year, just add the adapter and you are ready for your Highland or Juniper.
