Tesla Semi Delivery Dec 1 and other Tesla news nuggets

At long last, the Tesla Semi is going in to production and Tesla will begin delivering the Semi to Pepsi on December 1, 2022. Elon Musk shared this bit of good news yesterday on Twitter.

The fully loaded Tesla Semi accelerates from 0-60 mph in only 20 seconds, has three independent motors on its rear axles and is equipped to ensure that the operator spends less time at service centers.

There's also been a bit of whiplash in the Elon Musk and Twitter saga. Elon Musk decided that he wanted to move forward with the Twitter deal, however Twitter seems to have changed its mind. Chancellor Kathaleen St. Jude McCormick gave Elon Musk until October 28 to settle the deal. Twitter wants to continue the lawsuit and is a bit skeptical that Elon will close the deal.

All while this news was breaking, Twitter started having a glitch that is forcing users to like their own tweets. Perhaps it's a new feature? It was immediately noticed when Elon Musk seemed to have been liking all of his tweets over the past few years. Other began to notice that they, too, have been liking their own tweets. And no, Mercury is not in retrograde.
