The owner of a Tesla Model 3 shared that they make a lot more money driving for Uber with their Tesla than they have with their Toyota Camry. Teslarati shared the story of Heidi Barnes who said that she'd more than doubled her tips since switching to Tesla from her Toyota Camry. 

What fueled her switch to Tesla? It was the recent hike in gas prices. Previously, she would spend around $60 per day and with the gas prices on the rise, that number went up to over $100 per day. 

Thanks to Hertz, Heidi was able to rent a Tesla Model 3 for $344 per week. This rate covered insurance, maintenance, and unlimited miles. And the best part was that she didn't have any fuel charges. She noticed that she was saving money driving a Tesla. 

These savings are in addition to the doubling of the tips she'd receive from passengers. With her Toyota, she was getting around $1-$3 but those numbers went up to $10--$15 when she switched to renting the Model 3 from Hertz. 

Perhaps adding a fresh scent would create a memorable ride for any Uber passenger in a Tesla Model 3 or Y. Some sites, however, suggest that strong air fresheners are not great, however, something clean and fresh such as Coastal Forest or Grounded would be pleasant for the senses.
