Big Sur

I kept my expectations low with this one. I recently bought a Tesla Model 3 and stumbled across Scent Wedge online while looking for something to keep my car clean and smelling good, so I ordered their “Big Sur” scent. I never got a tracking number, the expected delivery date came and went, and it showed up a week late. I did contact them and they were nice enough to send another order for free, with tracking this time, which is ironic. When I installed it in my vents, it was underwhelming. No scent, no clean aroma. The item comes oily so you’d think it would blast the car with scent, but you can barely smell it, if at all. You get what you pay for at $15–$20 each. Only cool thing is the packaging and the “a tree gets planted” claim for every order. Not sure if that’s true, but these trees are getting cut for no reason. I’d say their competitor “Drift” is the better option.

Great product, though doesn't last as long as one would hope. Shipping to the UK is eye-wateringly expensive on a month-on-month delivery and is making me seriously consider cancelling my subscription.

Love the Big Sur scent but have found it to be the least potent of all the scents I have tried. I wish it was more powerful to keep the great smell around.

Love the natural scent, bought another pair of adapters and gave them a friend with some Bug Sur sticks to start off

I really like the scent, and the company seems to be pretty good too. My primary complaint, the scent only seems to last maybe a week, and that's with all 4 scentwedge "sticks" in use. Really need a longer lasting version. Also, shipping times are crazy long.

Scent doesnt last long

I put it exactly where it says to go and I cannot smell anything

If I could, I would like to suggest making some type of holder for the back vents of the Model Y with a stronger scent that would clip on. A lot of the times when I go to reactivate the scent with the heat on high, it pops them out of the vent.

On the packaging it says to replace the 2 pieces every two weeks or sooner if needed. After the first couple of days the scent was almost completely gone. I feel that more than just 2 packs should come in a month subscription. Or the scent should be very strong so it lasts more than a couple of days.

Love the smell, love the idea, but the smell only lasted a few days.. I don’t like the idea of having to blast the heater just to get the scent to come back momentarily.. I do like the model 3 refresh adapter as well as this held the wedge away from the material of the dash as I noticed oil on it.

Big Sur smells great, but I wish it lasted longer

The scent goes away after three days. I tried doing the reactivate while heating up the car, but that still doesn’t work. I ordered a new scent to see if that one will last longer.

I am very sensitive to fake smelling freshiners or freshiners that overwhelm you. The scents from scentwedge are not that at all. It is a perfect balance between refreshing and subtle.

Big Sur didn't impress me much. Right from the start, the scent seemed weak, almost as if I'd received a dud batch. The snap-in feature released an oily substance that left behind a residue, requiring cleanup. All in all, I'm not sold on this scent.

I love the elegant design and the variety of scents you have to offer. However, I do find the scent wears off really fast. Probably due to the climate where I live and park, my car can get quite hot and perhaps dries up the scented sticks.

I have been a customer of ScentWedge since it began…the products are the best…customer service is the best…and most of all, it does the job of keeping my Tesla smelling fresh always. Thank you!

Smells great and looks cool, but smell goes away within two days. Even using the hot air for 2-3 mins.

Scent is not overpowering and clean!

The Big Sur scent is strong at first but mellows out to a crisp fresh smell. More on the masculine side and refreshes the scent when the car gets warm. I plan on ordering more soon.

Love Scentwedge for my car, but specifically this scent. I highly suggest grabbing the starter package so you can find what you like, this one was my personal favorite.

Very pleasant smell-going strong for 2 weeks now already

The little wedges fit very well in the vent slot of our Model Y. The Big Sur scent is perfectly mellow and natural smelling. I like that it's made of just wood and essential oils, rather than mystery chemicals. Nicely done!

Big Sur adds a freshness without it being overpowering. It's subtle but distinctive. The sage scent is there, not too obvious, but discernable, but you'd swear the window was open and you could smell the ocean. I love it. Makes you drive and feel like every trip is one on the Pacific Coast Highway.
