Cybertruck at the Petersen Automotive Museum
I live in Austin, and it's amazing that Cybertruck will be built at the Tesla Gigafactory right here in my own city. I was able to see Cybertruck in August, and the sheer size of it, and the design of it, are difficult for me to capture in pictures. These words, from Elon Musk, are a good description of the vehicle,
“Cybertruck is something special that comes along once in a long while”
I recently found out that Cybertruck was at the Los Angeles Peterson Museum. Arash Malek was one of the first people to view this exhibit, so I thought I would ask him a few questions.
Gail: First, I would like to thank you for your amazing pictures and videos of your visit to the Peterson Museum! The strong industrial effect of the truck is the vibe that I get when I watch your video. To me, the truck will be a hard-working utility vehicle, the best in Texas!
Do you know who designed the Cybertruck? Why is the design so different from other trucks?
Arash: The Sketch above the Cybertruck on display was signed by Franz so I imagine he played a big role in the design direction. When looking at it, you feel like it’s straight out of blade runner.
G: When do you think Cybertruck will be available for delivery?
A: I think it’ll probably ship early 2023
G: Who do you think will find the Cybertruck most useful? What type of customer?
A: I think at first it’ll be non-truck people that find themselves in a Cybertruck and start realizing how much utility the car has. I think once they hit the road, it’ll go viral within the truck world.
G: If there is a special Cybertruck delivery event in Austin, Texas, will you be there?
A: If I get invited, I will definitely be there!
